ACL Cornhole Mania in Atlantic City, NJ
Last weekend was the American Cornhole League ACL Cornhole Mania event in Atlantic City, NJ. This was the second event national Pro event of the season. ACL Professional Cornhole Players traveled from around the country to battle it out on the boards earning prize money and points that accumulate over the season while we head toward the ACL World Championships in August.
If you were not attending, you were hopefully catching all the action on the ACL live stream on Facebook & then the main stage on ESPN! Brandon and I were glued to the computer watching and routing for Team Gladiator.
ACL Pro Team Adrian Johnson and Leston Allen was looking straight fire in their Team Gladiator jerseys while at the Cornhole Mania event! Always making sure they are prepared for the battle on the boards they were armed with an arsenal of Gladiator Cornhole bags to choose from. They switched up their bags and used the King Cheetah Pro's for this event and Adrian also used the Gladiator Cornhole Glove. They finished with an impressive 12th place in their bracket!
With the updated pro doubles rankings, Adrian & Leston are currently ranked 36th!
This team continues to make us proud with all the hard work hard they put in on and off the boards this season. And would you look at those contagious 1000-watt smiles! We are so happy to have you on Team Gladiator!
Rookie team ACL Pro Mark Richards and ACL Pro Philip Lopez Jr are making their presence known in the cornhole world and around the nation with making their first ESPN appearance in the Pro Doubles using Gladiator King Cheetah Pro's, coming in 2nd place! Mark came in 5th in Pro Singles overall (2nd in his bracket) & Philip not far behind in 13th place.
The final day of the event was the Pro Blind Draw event where Philip and Alex Rawls got 1st place using King Cheetahs! Mark & Bret Guy landed at the 5th spot in the bracket also using King Cheetah's.
The ACL just updated season standings, Mark is currently holding 3rd place Philip is in 6th place, and as a team is holding 8th place! Congrats to both of you for an incredible weekend (heck incredible season!). This is just the beginning, and we can't wait to see what happens for you next!
The rest of the season is scheduled out and we can't see what to report on what the next events has in store for Team Gladiator!
