THE AMERICAN CORNHOLE LEAGUE 2023-2024 SEASON: WHICH MEMBERSHIP LEVEL SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?

Next Friday kicks off the first official ACL Open and Pro Draft in Rock Hill, SC. Over the next few weeks, we will be breaking down the ACL Player guide. You may be a seasoned ACL cornhole player or you might be trying to figure out the ins and outs of competitive cornhole. Today we are going to review the 2023-2024 ACL Player Membership Levels to help you choose which is right for you!

This year the ACL has 4 membership levels. Each level comes with benefits for the player and as the level goes up, so do the benefits…and the pricing.  Each level of membership does require players to abide by the Bring Your Own Bag rules meaning players must use ACL Cornhole Bags stamped with either PRO or COMP depending on the level of player/event.

FREE:

The first level is FREE! This allows the player to participate in ACL events and receive the current season PPR (Points Per Round), but the player will not appear in standing/rankings in the ACL. This is the perfect level to get your feet wet in a competitive cornhole without spending extra money while sharpening your skills.

GOLD:

The next level is GOLD with a price tag of $50 for the year. With the gold membership the player will appear in ACL rankings, can participate in ACL events, is eligible for free ACL wallet deposits, and track basic stats including PPR, Rounds, 4B% (4 bagger percentage), total wins & losses, and Power Ranking - both current season and career. The gold membership gives the player a minimum of $10 discount at specific events and is eligible for 40 bonus points each month if the player participates in at least 8 tournaments in that month.

PLATINUM:

The next level is PLATINUM with a membership price of $100 per year. This level is for more serious players planning on attending different level events throughout the season. Benefits include Free ACL wallet deposits and withdrawals, 50% off ACLDN (Digital Network) Membership and discounts, and early bird access to ACL events. As you get more serious you will want to track more advanced stats to see how you are progressing. The Platinum membership includes all stats in the GOLD membership as well as advanced career stats like percentages of rounds won/rounds lost/rounds tied, percentages of bags in the hole/off the board/on the board, wins/losses by event level (local, regional, state, conference, open, national). Current season stats tracked include wins/losses split between single/doubles, PPR by event level, PPR by singles/doubles broken down by indoor events and outdoor events.

DIAMOND:

The last level to choose from is DIAMOND. Diamond is a developmental level for those trying to go Pro. This level gives you all of the PLATINUM perks as well as access to four Elite level events, opportunities to earn a spot in a PRO national or shootout event, opportunity to be promoted to an ACL PRO Team, exclusive access to the Elite level social media group. Things to remember for the Diamond Level is for players ranked at the advanced level, pay the $500 annual membership fee and sign the ACL Player contract which is similar to the ACL Pro contract.

Now that you have a better understanding of ACL Player Membership levels you can choose which option is best for you this season while sharpening your cornhole skills and battling your way through the competition!  Next week come while we break down and get a better understanding of the ACL division & skill levels.
